Early Detection Examination

Skin cancer is the most common cancer in humans. We now know that the UV-light is responsible for most of the damage to the skin and the reason for the sharp increase in the patients affected by skin cancer. In principal, one can differentiate between the highly aggressive types of skin cancer (melanona, Merkel cell carcinoma) and the less aggressive but even more common non-melanoma skin cancers (squamous cell carcinoma, basal cell carcinoma).

In my office, I am able to examine your skin with the most modern technologies (digital dermatoscopy) and to identify precursor and early cancer lesions in order to treat them timely (please see also chapter skin cancer).
