Diagnosis and Treatment of bacterial, viral and fungal skin infections

The skin serves as the barrier between our body and the environment. On the surface of our body lives a broad variety of microorganisms, mainly bacteria and fungi, which normally do not cause any diseases. the conditions change for these microorganisms (for example because of increased skin dryness or moisture or because of underlying diseases like atopic dermatitis), this may lead to increased skin infections. Some fungi or viral organisms are even obligatory pathogenic, that means that they always cause diseases.

Some of these disease are severe, affecting not only the skin, and may even be life-threatening. In order to reduce possible danger, immediate therapeutic management is necessary. I offer a diligent and broad diagnostic and therapeutic approach with clinical examination, analysis of infectious material, laboratory and special examinations, if necessary also as inpatient service.
